Well, I went to a large collector car show and swap meet today and ended up bringing home an old Pepsi cooler. I am typically a collector of old gas and grease cans so this purchase was made blindly. All I know is that I like the look of the thing. I have tried online finding information andbthe only thing I know is that it looks like it's from the 50's. I'm wondering if anyone could tell me what they know about it. I'd greatly appreciate any help.

    Thank you.

    Welcome!
    NICE PHOTOS!!!!
Looks like a nice one too.
I'm not sure that it's 50s though. Someone will be along to help.

Thank you for the kind welcome. The old $50 tablet has a pretty decent damera I think.

....I would rather come home with a 1969 AMC AMX but I'm happy nonetheless :D

Thanks for the link. That's definately the same one. Although some listings Ive looked at say A1 or A4 and I'm going to assume this is the model number. Any idea as to what model mine is?

    Thank you.

No idea - they look the same to me, although I've seen them with the drain plug under the handle on the side instead of in the front like yours - maybe that's the difference in model #'s

    That would be sweet!
I won an AMX patch at their display at the NY auto show in '69 by shifting better than a group of adults and I was 17 and hadn't even driven yet!
I still have it and another I found in a thrift many years later!
It was across the room upside down and I knew what it was. :)

    I liked those BUT.............
I've always wanted a GSX in Apollo White - I guess never gonna happen unless I win the lottery!:(

Had a red 69 with the 343. Breaks my heart to see what they're going for now. Would have to take out a 2nd mortgage to afford one lol. Loved that car. Very rare nowdays.

My '68 Chevy II Nova SS is one of only 5,470. That doesn't sound so rare but this was the first of the 3rd generation Novas and many of these went to the drag strip right off.
