    A lot depends on what you paid for it. Women today have gone off small 'lady's' watches, the fashion now is unisex, so there is relatively little market for this type. Women do not, in general, collect watches, although they certainly do tend to accumulate them.

    A man's example would be reasonably sought after, although they are not 'the world's most honoured watch' by any means.

    It looks as if thatb one has a stainless steel back, so it would be a gold plated or gold filled case. If it has been in the box for 30 or 40 years it probably needs a clean, as the old oil tends to dry out over time and gum up the movement.

    I would wear that. Lately I have been looking at mechanical wind up watches because I am done with having a quartz watch die just when most needed. Wind it up, put it on in the morning, good for all day!

    Interesting. That's quite inexpensive for a Longines. I've one bought for me in the mid 80s and it was over two hundred quid at the time. Still going strong.

    I haven't researched this much. I don't suspect it's worth a lot but it's older and some folks like this style of things so eventually I'll sell it.
