Found these in my barn when I bought this place. Seems like old tractor lights, glass lenses held into their holder with a steel wire holder. Has the old time cloth braided wires. I find it neat that they are the old time glass lenses. They are smaller probably about 3 1/2" at the base, Never hooked them up to see if they work or took them apart (don't actually know how ) to see what kind of bulbs are in them. Any info would be appreciated - THANKS!

They're general purpose lights used on trucks and trailers. May be 6 volt bulbs. The sockets would likely need a lot of cleaning, if saveable at all.

You can take a chance on a quick touch to a battery.
If they're 6 volt they'll just burn out and they're pretty much useless anyway unless you've got a 6 volt vehicle.
The following should not be done close to a battery as a spark could make it explode!
Get your jumper cables out. Safely stretch them all the way out and separate the cables on one end.
Clamp the others to the battery as color coded red to positive.
Take the safe ends and put negative, black, to the body of the light.
Touch the wire to the positive clamp. If the bulb, socket and wire is good the bulb will light.
