Old Glass Beer Stein With Painted Porcelain Top

    I would estimate c. late 19th century. Probably German or Austrian.

    It is a bit faint and blurry, but as far as I can see, it says: "Sonne sendet deine Strahlen, ...... meine Liebesqualen." Sun send your rays, ...... my pangs of love.

    Edit: I think the missing word is Lösche, extinguish (as in extinguish a fire). So it probably says:
    "Sonne sendet deine Strahlen. Lösche meine Liebesqualen."
    Sun send your rays. Extinguish my love pangs.
