I'll not delve into our relationship, save to emphasize the incandescent start to our time together...it was That Hot!

Time, however, tends to cool all passions, as it has (barely) for this one. As I consider her serene face, I am invariably reminded of a Frankie Laine song from the early 50's; Rose, Rose I Love you:

"...Standing on the jetty as the steamer moves away,
Flower of Malaya, I cannot stay!
    "

Anyway, after all this time I'm still ignorant of her true origin; based on the bows at throat an' hair, garment features, hair style, almond eyes an' skin tone, I'm not sure at all that she isn't a citizen of a large an' ethnically diverse SE Asian population.

Please offer what you can about her.

Her plinth is an oval, 7/8" thick, 3 3/4" x 2 1/8"; she's 5 3/8" to the tip of her hair-bow, cast of white plaster-like material; weight ~11.4 oz. Her entire hair-do with ribbon was probably applied, in several sections. There's not a makers mark, nor any other indication of age or origin.

    Thanks for lookin'!

Rather off track but I just watched an old episode of Perry Mason where Frankie Laine played a serious role, no singing! (I've been a Perry Mason fan as long as I can remember)

I like the new Perry Mason too.

Very cute figurine. I would keep it a long time as well.

I think I've seen every episode at least twice if not more often over the many times Perry has been rerun.
