Old figural pottery marked Austria - who what ?

    Can anyone shed some light on this old piece of Austrian pottery? It's pretty beat up but interesting. Was it a vase? its only 4 3/4" tall. Is it anyone in particular? thanks for checking it out! It appears to be quite old. austria.jpg austria1.jpg austria3.jpg

    Think it's just meant to be an exotic figure from the Middle East.

    Yup, missing a lid and it's chalkware by the look of it.
