Can anyone help with the marks and possible date of this old pewter pint measure? As you can see in the photos, It has a tiny symbol with VR underneath and 582 beneath that; E on the left and 9 on the right. After that, an oval with (I think) a crown, 522, and LCC, then PINT. The only thing I'm sure about is the pint LOL.

    All help appreciated!

Thank you! I tried researching a few days ago, clicked on a link that was supposed to be useful, and bam! My computer locked and a voice wanted ransom. Fortunately I was able to shut it down, but I’ve been leery of pewter sites since.

LCC would stand for London County Coucil, and was around from 1889 ie, the reign of Queen Victoria (1837-1901). They possibly approved and licensed such measures at this time.
