Old drum symbols

Okay first off, I know I have 2 different socks on, I've been sick with this darn flu that's going around, so I didn't care if they matched, lol.

Anyways, I had these 2 drum symbols for about 1 month now, unable to find any maker on them. They each measure approx. 14 inches and I don't see a name on them or any stamp marks.
Anybody know who the maker might be ?

    Thank You 018.JPG 019.JPG 020.JPG 021.JPG 022.JPG

Hi, Billy! I am SO sorry you're sick. That totally stinks! Please take care of yourself!

As for your cymbals (that's the proper spelling,) there are a lot of them on eBay, some for very, very cheap.

I know absolutely nothing about cymbals, but I imagine that, like everything else, the value has to do with both the company that made them and the condition they're in. Do yours have any markings on them anywhere?

(Well, duh... I just saw that you said they're not marked...)

Here are the current eBay listings:

I know a lot about antique and vintage cymbals and have many. These are not going to appeal to anyone who collects drums/cymbals. The lack of a manufacturer stamp, the lack of hammering, and the fake lathe lines mean they were cheap to produce and entry level line. These are also very thin and bent which indicates not high quality. This pair is meant to be used together in a hi-hat, so called 14" hi-hat cymbals. The only good news is that they might sound OK when played, only way to know is to try them.

When you've got the flu you're a bit unbalanced, it is a perfect expression of his current state.;)

Take care of yourself, Billy, get well soon.:)

Hi Billy, I just got over 2 bouts of a nasty flu, got over the first one, a a week later another one hit me .. I felt quite weak, my immune system didn't help me out, I think old age didn't help . SO .. be careful, take care with plenty of rest, these flus can come back at you. :) :) ... Joy.

Just so you know, it's spelled "cymbal" not "symbol" so if you're doing a search, you need to spell it correctly for the best results. Zildjian is the premier cymbal maker in the world, but I'm sure there are many others.

As far as the flu = REST is the best thing you can do. Do not discount chicken soup. You need something easy to digest that has good nutrition. Tea with honey and lemon. I know these all sound like Grandma advice, but, hey, I'm a Grandma! We're the caretakers of the world. Joy is right - if you don't give yourself a chance to get well and you rush it, you'll end up flat on your back again.
