Old Cracker Jack Prizes or what What Are We?

First off, If this is in the wrong section let me apologise. I just didn' see another section where these could possibly fit. So I've got a very large amount of all these lil miniatures, someone collected a while from what I can see. My question is what are they or what were they used for, are they old crackerjack prizes? Next question is how old do you guys think they Are? I was guessing 50s-60s but just not sure. TIA for any info you have...

 

I get a bakery/cupcake decoration vibe.

 

Could be gumball/vending machine prizes or cereal premiums also.

 

I do see some of those in there for sure especially the umbrellas and such, but not all of them maybe is a mix of anything miniature?

I believe that most Cracker Jack prizes were marked. This appears to confirm ....

" Cracker Jack prizes are between 1 1/4 inches or 1 1/2 inches; and most of them are marked [Cracker Jack, CJ, CJ Co.]."

oh those look like fun I agree with johnny and Kronos, also some could be cracker jack toys too - the camel looks like hard plastic. I see one says 'Made in Hong Kong' so you are right on the dates. The dinosaur might be a toy, they did series of miniature dinosaurs.

 

I see some cocktail garnishings as well - especially the pink elephant, beer mug, camel, & Nessie (1st pic) - that's a fun jumble

 

I don't see any cracker jacks from late 1950s-1970s.
The toys I remember as a child were more intricate.
The babies above do not appear to be old king cake babies.
I have no idea what else other than cupcake decorations? idk?

 

i think it's a mixed bag....but CJ prizes....I don't see any I remember.....
