    I'm interested too. Hope this turns out to be something with age.

    Porcelain is a kind of pottery, it is fine, delicate and translucent. If you hold this piece up to the light can you see light coming through it?

    Now that the pictures are gone, I doubt any answers will be possible. :(

    I'd say ceramics are made of clay. Pottery tends to be lower fired while porcelain is high fired so it vitrifies.

    Anyway...I don't see any photos:(

    Nice dish, Abdel. The style is from Canton/Guandong, coastal China.
    The mark could be 20th century, and probably refers to an earlier period, but if you photograph it straight, it will be easier to see.
    @Silver Wolf may know it.

    It's a Chinese Kangxi mark, but I didn't quite find the exact one yet. It's not of the Kangxi period, but rather later 20th century (like 1960's on).

    I'll see if I can find the exact one.

    This rubber stamped red ink seal mark appears to be a match to #167 shown under the heading Yongzheng Nian Jhi (Yongzheng Period Make.) Note the 20th century date and the note "Decorative marks, not of the period."
