Old Carved Wooden Table - Help with ID Please

    Old Carved Wooden Table - Help with ID Please. Thank you in advance. I thought maybe it was a smoking table, a wash table, or a pie table...a telephone table...a plant stand...Well, as you can see, I have NO CLUE!
    Table has a piece of glass over the top surface.

    Size would help
    Pictures of the underside and type of screws.

    Just guessing, but I think the glass tops were popular in the 1940s and after

    I think 40s or so is about right on this. I would guess this is a smoking table if on the small side.

    Here are pictures of the table. Table measures 20" diameter at the top X 29 1/2" tall. Thank you again.

    Much better pictures, thank you.
    I think the wood is probably mahogany.
    Again popular wood of the 1940s.

    To me that is a type of screw found in furniture of the 30s to maybe as late as the 50s
