    This oval, bronze plaque commemorates
    Gian Galeazzo Visconti*

It measures roughly 4x7 inches and has the figure’s image in high relief surrounded by the latinized name and title:

    JOHANNES * GALEATIVS * VISCOUNTEVS : PAVIENSIS * CARTHVSIA * CONDITOR

with a date, 1396. Below the figure is a shield with a crown that looks like it says GGA CAR but the Gs look odd.

Back side has a adhesive perforated stamp and a simple hanger brazed on the top.

There's a tie in with the Cathedral in Milan:

Italy, John Galeatius, 500th anniversary of the construction of the Cathedral in Milan, 1886, by F. Broggi

In 1386, Archbishop Antonio da Saluzzo began construction of the cathedral.[7] Start of the construction coincided with the ascension to power in Milan of the archbishop's cousin Gian Galeazzo Visconti, and was meant as a reward to the noble and working classes, who had suffered under his tyrannical Visconti predecessor Barnabò.

My guess is that these were sold as souvenirs in Milan & that the sticker on the back of yours is original to it.

the sticker could be quite old, although the Italians used them also after 1945 with fish glue.
