Old Brass Sleigh Bells

    I haven't seen bells like these before. Stand 1 1/4" and measure 3 3/4" around the middle. Any idea on age?

    They were attached to a leather belt or part of a harness, which has long since dried out an' rotted away. They're of good, heavy brass, an' probably sound a sweet & high, crystal-clear note.

    I'll risk guessing mid 19th C to maybe 1920. From the size of the iron rivets, they look to be about an inch or a little less in diameter. They are very nice...thanks for the post!
