    Hey folks!

Haven't posted in so long, but need your help and advice.

I've got a pair of these wine jugs that are most likely made in Sweden, but I am struggling to identify the maker and the material of the metal part.
It's a stunning piece, very high quality and I like the glass part too.
I assume there is a three crowns of the Swedish coat of arms in a trefoil shape in one of the marks and the first part reads CAN or CAM I think. It's not silver I think as the coat of arms is missing S next to it, but I could be completely off :)
It's a large piece, approx. 32 cm in height.

I am sorry for bad photos. My lamp broke at the studio and I had to use a very bad table lamp.

    Any help is highly appreciated.

    Erik

I found this list of Swedish silver makers using CAM or CAN initials. I have no idea about yours but thought it might be directions to look.

The M is the city mark for Malmo, but there are no entries for makers there in this list. The date code is tough to read - F or E and then 6?

Oh, didn't know that. Thanks a lot!
    Date code should be F6. Or E 6 ;) :D
Any ideas what materials they used? I really can't tell what the metal part is made of.

Really don't know what would have been available in the mid 1880s (which either date code indicates.)
