Oil painting of a clipper

    found this picture at a dog rescue thrift store, ,It is oil on canvas, However the painting seems to be glued onto carboard, written on back is painted by James Wright 1976, only James Wright I have found is from England and though he paints seascape, am unable to find anything similar. Any insight on artist appreciated, Outside dimensions are 12 by 10 with painting approx, 2 inches smaller thank you all IMG_4043.JPG

    Well I found out a little more, dismantled it, artist is from Groves Texas, no info available, Painted 1972, so guess I wont be dancing to bank
