odd mark comprising diamonds. My guess is this is an asian knock off but what do others think?

Rontgen shows three similar marks, all French: Tinet (Montreuil), E. Jaquemin (Fontainbleu), Jacob Petit (Fontainbleu). Bet they're all related. Dates range from 1830 through 1873. Don't know if this can be that old, and none of the marks is an exact match.

Does anybody else think this looks like 2 Meissen marks joined together? just sayin'.

I agree with Sunday, guessing this is an Asian knock-off. Nice enough, but there isn't the over-the-top quality that you'd expect from companies like Meissen. The base is a bit rough, look at the hands, etc.

well the mystery deepens. There is a figural listed on worth point using the terms: "Jacquemin Fontainebleau" that has a similar base and similar coloring. although the mark is not shown tHe description uses the term "double crossed swords." The original one I posted came up for auction a few days ago but had some even more hideous damage in the rear as you can see:

    That's not damage. That's a Marie Antoinette doll. ;)
