Featured odd/grotesque mask / wall hanging

    Hi folks

    something i picked up today from my mates house clearance shop. just looked odd/interesting

    couldn't even make a guess at where its from or how old

    having problems with image search at the moment, nothing happens just loading screen

    not sure on what its made from, maybe plaster?, the back looks air brushed i think

    any thoughts or info appreciated

    the colour of the airbrushing makes me think 1930s?, presuming the string is newer/ added later

    Search for "ancient Greek theater masks" - it appears to be a modern recreation.
