Odd Chinese Clock

    Hi All,

    I found this mid century chinese clock for which I can find no similar examples in my online searches. What I find weird about it is that, based on its construction, I would think it is a composite with a face originally from a different clock. Nonetheless it has markings that say "Rose" "Quartz Clock" "Jiangsu China", suggesting a particular manufacturer.

    Anyone have any information they could share?

    Also, please direct me to the appropriate forum, if not furniture.
