The Braganza brooch is a gold, delicately ornamented fibula, dated to approximately the second half of the 3rd century BC. The brooch was discovered in Portugal in the 19th century, but the exact circumstances of its appearance are unknown. It is assumed that the product was made by a Greek craftsman who lived inIberia[1]. Currently stored inThe British Museum.

Gorgeous, thank you for posting it Aqui.
It is a fibula, a cloak or clothing fastener, the ancestor of the present day brooch. And yes, when utilitarian dress or hair items become adornment, it is considered jewellery to jewellery historians.
