Not sure if I am in the right forum, need help with this glass & metal bowl

    I have had this bowl for about 5 years now and keep tying to find info on it. It looks like the glass has been blown right inside of the metal part as it bulges out on the sides in the heart shape and is one piece. It stand 8cm high and 13cm across the top. I am not sure what the metal is but I have tested it and it is not silver. #01.JPG #02.JPG #03.JPG #05.JPG #08.JPG #09.JPG #04.JPG #07.JPG #10.jpg The glass itself is approx. 1/2 cm in thickness. Looking for any help in where it was made and who would have made it as well as its purpose. Maybe I should not have but I did shine it up. No signature or maker's marks anywhere.
