North African(?) metal box, help please

This mystery box came in a lot, which I bid on because included was an Indian sitar-shaped paan (betel) box.

This box is small, has two compartments with two separate hinged lids and a partition in the centre, under the finial. It is base metal.
The seller thought it was also Indian, but it looks North African Amazigh/Berber to me.

I found a similar box on a North African site, no ID, and of course I can't find it now.
But I am sure one of you wonderful people can find one, along with a convincing ID.

Thank you! The label definitely makes it Moroccan.
But betel box? I don't think Morocco has a betel chewing culture.

 

The green part of the world is betel country, south and southeast Asia.
Morocco is on the northwest coast of Africa, south of Spain and Portugal.

 

Hashish smoking, but definitely not betel chewing
