Nicola Ducan - Belgium - Mark Question

    This mark is on the bottom of a lidded stein. The internet seems to indicate it is the mark of Nicola Ducan, a Belgian pewter maker. Can anyone tell me what the mark on the right indicates and how I can date the piece by these marks? Pewter.jpg

    Looks like a slightly different version of the mark on your piece:

    Can you post the reference that claims it's a Nicola Ducan mark?

    Understandable, but sellers often get things wrong. Our members generally do more research and have a wealth of experience. And no horse in the race, so to speak.
    I agree that yours is a repro, just like the one in the other thread.
