I thought this news story about a hoarding situation that YouTube's Curiosity Incorporated handled the house clearance for was a really illuminating story and painted a really touching and respectful story of a recently deceased woman and the hunt through her lifelong possessions and passions.

Nice, but sad story. He was rewarded for being respectful. She was like a secret socialite. :)

I subscribe to the Youtube channel and saw the whole thing. He bought the entire contents of the house, sight almost unseen. The place was packed; he had to walk on layers of "stuff" just to move through. Went right by a nice Moorcroft vase on his first rummage through after buying it. After this crazy Yank pointed it out with the time stamp he went back and got it. (LOL) With those colors you'd wonder how he missed it, but if you saw the place you'd know why. A clothing dealer bought most of the clothing sight unseen and got enough inventory of vintage goodies for the next year or two in one go.

It was a scene out of Davey's dreams or worst nightmares. They used a portion of the proceeds to fund piano scholarships for local kids. Pretty cool. The lady was a piano teacher.

It looked very clean compared to what I deal with.
They would have had to pay me though.

Yep. That's the name of their shop too.

It was a lot cleaner when the news crew arrived. When he first walked in there was nowhere to walk, and anyone working in the house really needed an N95 woodworking dust mask. I think Alex cleared about $250,000 Canadian on the deal, so he got paid. :)
