Newer red glass with metal work on top... Spanish? Mexican?

    Thoughts on this? Could even be a Pier One piece, but curious what it is. My though is that it isn't terribly old. Top part seems hand done. Remnant of some kind of former label or price sticker on base, long gone.

    Has anyone run across similar?

    OOOOOH!!!! Very PRETTY!!!! A decorative spooner??? A small flower vase?? Probably newer.....whichever, I LIKE what they did!!!!!:):):)
