Newbie

I live in Maine,spend a lot of time digging up things in the Kennebec river area. Lots of old foundations and farm ruins. Spend my off time growing things,camping and the winter,snowmobiling.

Nahhh, I cant grow that stuff. my bees might get into it and screw up my honey business.

Yep, I like my bees.....I lost half last year. Hard winters here sometimes.

I love honey but being allergic to bee and wasp stings I do not want to start a hive. Welcome to the board. I see you are a "cellar hole" explorer. I have many a fabulous item in these holes.

Somewhere in my neighborhood, there must be a hive producing oregano and catnip flavored honey. My plants are covered in bees.
I find it very calming to watch them.

 

I watch them most days in late afternoon ,and they are very calming...........or is it the adult beverage I enjoy while doing so? Maybe a combination of both.lol
