newbie harold too

noticed you have another harold on this site.
I'm from southeast alabama , married and one grown child that lives in florida.
I do but do not collect antiques . my wife does not like old things except me.
she says if she can not afford to buy new then she don't need it.
I have always enjoyed the older things and I have been known to look at a item and wonder who had it first and where it came from. i'm mainly here to learn from you guys and ladies . that way when i run across a item i like i might have a head start with it.
