Hi all I'm Adrian from san Diego California. I have a restoration company 24hr emergency service. Flood fire mold. Being that I am involved in alot of remediation's such as MOLD . I come across all kinds of jobs wer the customer is usually saying just take it or insurance will cover it. Me being the guy always looking for something new to get into decided to start looking up son of these things and found some pretty cool pieces of history . Me that guy always trying to make a buck started to c a interest in son of the things I had acquired. Chaching right?? Nope ME being the guy who has to think everything he has I cool or the coolest decided to be on a three storage unit holding HOARDER.LOL. Needless to say I'm new to all of this and love to learn and don't mind making a few bucks . I'm very interested in any and all input on items i have that could be vintage or antique and any good direction. I'm a good student and am up for it all. It has become a new fun hobby, interest, space taking venture. Thanks all hope to hear from you all soon.

Fresh meat alert! (LOL) Welcome to the lunatic bin ... ehhh board, Adrian. Your fellow hoarders/collectors salute you. Some of us do furniture, some are glassies, some like ceramics, some asian bits and pieces etc. I'm a jewelry hoarder. The bits and pieces are a lot smaller than car parts, so I can hoard... collect more.

You have got to admire a man here to learn the difference between Sh** and Shinola. ( it had to be said!)

Welcome to the forums. I have some hoarding tendencies as well but I try to reassure myself that its not hoarding if it can be flipped for a profit someday. Never have sold anything out of my "collections" but may in the future.

Oh my goodness -- there it is -- the Kiwi polish used on my school shoes (always leather lace-up shoes) from first grade until I was a sophomore in high school.

As a young (primary/elementary school) child I always wondered about the "ox blood" (Kiwi brand) polish used on my shoes, especially because my mother's favorite soup was "oxtail soup." :hilarious:
