New Orleans Furniture Manufacturing Company Mission Style Rocking Chairs

I just picked up a couple nice New Orleans Furniture Manufacturing Company mission style rocking chairs on Craigslist today. Both rockers were recently refinished, reglued, and the seller replaced the failed spring seats with leather covered foam ones. I believe they are early 20th century (but don't know for sure). I am happy with the purchase and the seller's work, but does anyone know more about the New Orleans Furniture Manufacturing Company? I wonder- were these a popular model? Thank you!

 

Look like nice chairs but not equivalent to those from the top makers. There were hundreds (thousands?) of mission furniture makers in the early part of the 20th century. Most are lost to National history, though there may be a local memory. Yours, no doubt, were made circa 1920.
