    Hecho a mano means hand made.
    Did you buy it in Playa del Carmen? Is that what Del Carmen refers too?
    And lead free means uhmmm...;)

    It looks like a modern interpretation of a traditional Talavera. But as it's not marked Talavera, it didn't originate there. What part of México did you buy it in?
