Needle point brooch

    Found this today. Looks very much like silver but unmarked. I will test it when I get home. It was 99p so couldn't resist. No idea of age but guessing second quarter of 20th?

    I have tested it and the solution turned blue for nickel. Ho hum

    IMHO more likely third quarter of the 20th century... or later. Little kits could be bought at local craft stores to make these, which included the setting. In fact, I still see the settings sold for DIY efforts.
