    Good day all,

Could anyone help me out with the silvermark attached? it is on a silver jar said to be from the 19th century and used for potpourri (please do correct if it is wrong)

Thank you so much in advance

    Kind regards

    Ben

Is there any way to date a piece like this without knowing the maker?

Only by style and comparing to other pieces of known date.
