I bought this lamp today from an estate sale and really like it, I have several questions that I hope people can answer. It is made by Sale M Bros. Looks to be in good shape , I can not find this exact one on line, also I believe I am missing something between the shade and the lamp itself, the lamp shade has a square top and the lamp has a round top. The shade sits fine on the lamp like it is. My questions are, time frame it could have been made? Is there a missing part between the shade and lamp, value, and any other information. I paid $75 and it seems nice.

Need shots of underneath and maybe a couple of closeups of different parts of the lamp.

It's not the original cord but cords get replaced all the time on these type lamps. White metal with slag glass panels. Looks like an old one. More photos might confirm, and possibly reveal the maker. Nice lamp with the two different colored panels.

Perhaps the lamp and shade are a marriage. Where was it marked Salem Bros?

... and is the logo a sail boat? Believe Salem Bros, used a sailboat logo c1920s - 1930s. The name on the sail is written

    Sale

    Bros.

I'd put a cloth covered cord on it and get rid of that crappy one plus there's no protection where it passes through the base.

If those are a marriage it's a great one!

I suspect the police will be at your door at any moment for you to have gotten even the shade at that price! :)

I probably would've broken it leaping over buyers to escape the sale desk. ;)
