Need info on Victorian-like Settee and Chair

We bought this today and can't find and info or anything similar to date it or value it. Any info is appreciated.

 

Would call it neoclassical with French influence. May actually be French. Can't see details well enough in these pics but would think late 19th century at the earliest. Could be as late as mid 20th century.

 

Love the faces on it! Something about the lines make me lean towards Brads estimation that its 20th century.

 

The upholstery, which appears to be original, certainly points to mid-20th century.
