Need identification and value of this antique item

    20240113_152549.jpg My Grandma got it from a antique store for my mom in 1980. It has no markings on it so I don't know how old it is help will be much appreciated

    To be honest it's really hard to tell without any marks on it. Looks hand painted but could have been done at the factory or could be a plain white piece decorated by an amateur afterwards. Dont think it has much value, although it is quite attractive. My guess is mid 20th century

    a lot of the time....an identical item is hard to find , not because it's a rarity , but cuz it's so mundane that no one else has bothered putting pics up on the web !!!

    Looks like it was a plain white bowl hand-painted by an amateur hobbyist.
    Minimal value.

    the nice ground bottom ring gives it substancial age - it is most likely a Limoges French bowl - a lot of blanks were sold to advanced painters - mom and pops didn't usually use such expensive blanks - they went to ceramic classes...
