Good morning. I was hoping someone here might know what this iron thing is. It measures 12" long. Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks for taking a look.

From those pictures, I have no idea. Not even a guess. IS it in three parts?

Hi. Thanks for taking a look. It's only one piece.

Maybe another picture would help. It's a spiral, looks like it holds something maybe?

Some type of candle holder probably. Looks similar to "Courting candle holders".

Just a WAG, but it could be a bracket to hold a curved flower flute. The bottom of the flute would be supported by the spoon-shaped piece on bottom. The loop at the top would allow it to be hung on a wall. I surmise a curved shape because the twists wouldn't align with the base if the flute was straight....unless the twists have become bent from their original position.
That's my very convoluted guess for something that other's may recognize the real function of immediately.

Another WAG..... could be a piece off of a bigger apparatus like a wine bottle holder stand.............

Jivvy the research is my favorite

Having all the images at "full size" helps get a better view.

I do not know what it is, though.
