Hey all. We believe this is some sort of vintage scientific instrument... I found a wraparound tag on one part which states it was Made in Italy. There are many various parts, all seemingly functional. The top cover will come off, and inside is a small covered pan type instrument. Any information or thoughts is appreciated.

The piece measures out to 13" tall, 11.75" wide, 8.5" deep.
Let me know if you guys need any more info.

    Thank you!

Off topic here, but since there was a link to your auction I took a look at what you have. Nice stuff! BUT, a suggestion, for jewelry you will do better if you always post photos of the backs, marked or not. How a piece is constructed is important to anyone buying vintage or antique jewelry :)
