Need help with brand or maker of ladies wallet please TIA

Wasn't sure where to put this in the forums to ask a question so forgive me if this is in the wrong place.
I have a vintage ladies wallet with the original box. But I don't know who manufactured the wallet or the brand name or company it was sold by.
On the box there a crown and some lines as the logo.
Here is a picture of the box in case anyone knows.

I wonder if it is Belle Brummel (female counterpart of "Beau Brummel") -- Beau Brummel at one point advertised with "The Finest in Leatherware." The logo for Beau Brummel is (or was) not the same as the logo yours is showing (crown).

Then again, yours may be a take-off on Beau Brummel's "The Finest in Leatherware."

Just a thought -- perhaps you can delve into Beau Brummel (and/or Belle Brummel) leather goods a bit and see what turns up.

How can u be sure the box is original to the wallet ??

 

Komokwa, you have a point, it may not be original to the wallet. I bought a few boxed items at a small sale about a year ago. The other items I found and bought that same day, the contents matched the original boxes. I could tell because the boxes had a brand name on them as did the contents so they matched up.

It is possible that this box went with a different wallet or something else entirely or this is the right box for the wallet. I just wish the wallet had an inner tag or something so I could know for sure.

I guess I will have to wing it and say the box may not be original to the wallet, but that is how I found it.

1st off I'd say it looks small for that box, & I'm not recognizing that buckle..yet.

 

The angle I took it from makes it look off. It fits nicely inside.
Not too big, not too small, just right.
I am getting punchy. LOL

 

I figured so , but ....u no....photo's can be deceiving !

1960s - from the style and the way the box is printed.

I tried to remember what brands were popular. All I could think of were Lady Buxton and Rolf's. I don't think either of those though.

Sweet wallet!

This men's wallet has a similar box and also says "finest in leatherware." Since it has identifying info on the inside but doesn't say the maker's name, I'd think it wasn't a major brand.
