    I got a figurine I can't find any info on. Unusual factory mark. Does anyone know this mark?

    You might want to reseach further the mark of the former company, Dressel Kister.

    In the link it doesn't reference if the mark is in blue or not. I have seen the blue mark on porcelain half dolls. Their dolls were of very nice quality.

    AJ......yes, absolutely beautiful half dolls. In my years of buying and selling, I was once fortunate enough to be able to offer one of theirs for sale. The mark is so unusual, that it sticks in one's mind. But to only come across it every now and again, it takes me a bit to remember who. I did not know, until this discussion, about the Lenck family.

    With the Judy's help I found the maker, Dressel, Kister & Cie, in Passau Germany.
    Pity it has been damaged, but even as it is, it's very nice to look at.
