Hello, I just bought a carved figurine.
It could be jade or granite.
Could you tell me the origin and age? Thanks! IMG_7059.JPG IMG_7067.jpg IMG_7061.jpg IMG_7066.jpg

    Can it perhaps be soapstone?

I think he is wearing one of those dentist things, whatever they are called.

He has the blocky look of many Mexican onyx carvings (tourist art). But it is not a traditional style I recognize from anywhere.
