Need help on a wood war club

    I found this war club form an estate sale.

    I just wonder if this from Africa or native American

    Please post more complete photos of the carved design. The other end appears to be flat, like a paddle. Is that correct? How heavy is it? Is it a dense wood? I have my doubts about it being a war club. Possibly more a paddle for stirring mush or other food.

    I don’t know much but from the way you hold it,it does look rather light in weight to be a club.
