I have an old jug with no markings on it, I believe it to be salt fired.
It is approximately 22" tall, 12" wide, and 3/4" thick.

It is some kind of jug, I would think for wine.
An old friend got it at an auction, it's been in the family for about 50 years.

On the majority of jugs that I have seen, a single handle is oriented vertically, rather than horizontally as on yours. As komokwa has asked, what country was it found/sold in?

Let me clarify, the person was a friend of my family.
The auction was held in Denver Colorado.
