    The shapes remind me of early Zuni bowls, but @Taupou will know more. It would be helpful to have dimensions.

    the brown bowl is 7 inches across and 4 inches tall, the other grey bowl the grey bowl is slightly over 4 inches tall and just under 7 inches circ.

    could the grey pot be possibly San Jose pueblo?

    (Sorry I missed the tag. Internet connection was lost for a couple days.)

    Based on the photos, I'd say the decorated one is Zuni, and the plain one is Hopi. Both dating to the early 1900s. Sometimes you will find potters have married into a tribe, and end up making pottery with similarities to both the old and new tribe, so the clay itself is the main determining factor, but often that can't be determined from a photo.

    San Jose, California was originally a Spanish Colonial town called San Jose Pueblo, but there has never been a San Jose Native American pueblo, nor has pottery ever been associated with the Ohlone, the Native Americans from that area of California.
