Do you think the carving has some age or is recent repro? Any suggestions on the type of stone? Shoushan maybe?
Also, what are the other gems?
    Thanks

Shiny irregular beads are abalone. The clasp looks new.

    Thanks for the reply.
No doubt the whole piece was recently put together but wonder if the pendant could be older.

I go to Gift shows and there are dealers who import a lot of this from China.
Usually not expensive, wholesale in the 5-10 range - triple for retail.

Usually these are a little longer than choker style. If there is a center piece, is something that dangles down and matches with the rest of the necklace. The large stone may be someone's alteration to the necklace.

Looks like a type of serpentine. But I'm not an expert in rocks.

To me, the carving does not quite match the rest of the pieces. And it is a bit oversized for a pendant. Plus, both sides are carved. Maybe originally it was meant to be some kind of ornament?
