necklace age and material?

    A necklace and somewhat matching earrings. I assume this is costume jewelry. I'm interested in the age (does clasp give indication?) and most the material is. Seems like some kind of stone, or stone-like material.

    Not terribly old given findings. Lobster claps typically date from the 1990s on.
