@*crs* Any idea who made this one? I'm thinking maybe Cole. Someone glued a cork round to the bottom. I've managed to scrape most of it off, and there's the remnants of a round mark on the bottom. 10" tall.

Best guess is A.R. Cole. That broken circle is pretty distinctive but i didn't see one like that in my book. If you are on FB there is a great North Carolina Pottery group on there that should be able to pin it down

That is a good possibility. I'm not seeing a Royal Crown stamp with that break in it in my book. There is a 19 1/2" vase that appears to be the same but different glaze attributed to Jack Kiser who ran the shop. Handles were called Rat tail Handles

This is from North Carolina Art Pottery by A. Everette James, showing a Royal Crown stamped mark.

Perhaps you can compare it to your mark and see if it possibly lines up somehow. Just guessing that yours might be smeared, incomplete, etc.

Royal Crown looks like the best possibility. I’ve requested to join the FB group and if accepted, I’ll post there and report back.
    Thanks everyone!
