If you've never seen his work, he's BRILLIANT. He only does mini paintings. This painting in person is 2.25" x 2.25" What makes this piece incredible (besides the entire thing) the lettering in the eye was done without using a magnifying glass. If you saw this with your naked eye, you couldn't even see the lettering. This is the last one I bought - This is an earlier work I own. Scroll slowly if you don't see the image all at once, it's cool.
Me too. The more off the wall the better. That would be so cool. There are many. For me, Hattori is special. Many people are more impressed seeing them online. Because they think they're normal sized paintings. But, most of his paintings are from 2" to 4". That's really small. The detail is so astounding. They really are. This is one of the first ones I really wanted. It's from 2011. I didn't get the original, he did make some prints. It's very clever.
