NA Basket Maybe Navajo

    This stands 13" tall and measures 6" across the top. Was told it might be Navajo?

    I don't recognize that as a Navajo weave....or fiber .

    I see a few similar designs on Pima and Popago items

    I'm not sure that is the correct reed (grass) for Pima or Papago

    They used a lot of devils claw......and single & bundle rod coiling..

    Not Navajo, Papago, or even Native American Indian. It's Wounaan or Embera, from the Darien Rainforest, Panama.
