Mystery Sword

I Just picked up 2 new Mystery Weapons. The 1st is a heavy sword. (about 3 lbs) 30 inches long, it appears to have been rather sharp at one time. Handle appears to be Brass. The 2nd is a dagger, 16 1/2 inches long. Brass handle, leather and brass sheath.

Any help on identification would be great!

 

offhand......I'd say a us or French artillery short sword..... but the handle looks fantasy..... and I don't see any military marks...

the dagger , looks fantasy as well....

even odd fellows or Knights of... had markings on them..

so, fantasy...masonic...??
I might look towards Spain....

 

Ya, these have me confused? They both look to have been around for quite some time and the blades are quite pitted up. The dagger sheath is quite old also. I was trying to find a photo with the 2 loops on the top of a sheath with no luck. The face on the sword also is quite odd.
