I got this spoon a few years ago and found it the other day while cleaning up. Its age and origins completely baffle me. I originally thought it might be medieval European, as suggested by a friend. Others have suggested that it's Ethiopian, Yemeni, or even Tibetan or Asian.

I've been able to find absolutely nothing like it online... Any ideas?

It measures 10 and a half inches in length and 3 and a half inches in width.

Any help is much appreciated, as not being able to identify it is frankly driving me crazy!

Are there any maker or other marks?

No marks at all. The patina suggests it could be very old indeed however so if it's European I expect it predates makers marks. (It's brass anyway).
