Hi all, I've recently purchased these at auction. They were advertised as oriental silver panels, but I've found nothing on them online. I've yet to take them to an antiquity specialist, but im not sure they're antique at all. Any ideas from anyone?

    Welcome to the Forum, Sophie!
It may also be a helpful for you to give the size of these, (just something many people looking may want to know)

    Welcome Sophie.
The panels are very beautiful, but I would have them tested for silver content first. The marks look cast to me, not stamped. Cast marks are usually a red flag when it comes to Chinese silver.
Could you post a detail of one of the marks?
I have seen many of these offered for sale, freshly made in China. I wouldn't be surprised if these were recent production as well. Which isn't a problem, as long as they are actually silver and not sold as antique.

I've seen them for sale on ebay as "Scroll Weights" but as mentioned earlier, they could be modern repros.

99.9% percent possibility is Cupronickel. We saw too many these stuffs as tourism
Souvenirs. It should come with a wood stand and is called metal table screen.

The mark is "足银" - "Solid silver". However, generally anything except jewelries marked "足银" (Solid silver) contains no silver.
I don't purchase any chinese silver antiques without hall marks.
